Why we use the Design-Build concept:

In the Design-Build process of construction, we will start working with you right from the beginning with preliminary design layouts and will follow the project all the way through the construction process.  This solution offers the client important advantages over other alternatives. Design:

During the design phase, Olaf Anderson will provide many services to help you through the process of designing your building; some of these services include:

​

• Preliminary design layouts / ideas

• Preliminary budgets

• Preliminary renderings

• Design Development drawings as those ideas start developing

• Full set of construction documents

 

Build:

​

As we move from the design phase of the project, Olaf Anderson will provide all construction managing services listed in our “Methods” page under “Our Services”.  We also do some of the construction work ourselves such as:

• Structural steel erection

• Concrete foundation & flatwork

• Finished carpentry

• General labor

​

Keeping both the design and the building portion of the work under one entity streamlines the process all together and helps eliminate miss-communication that sometimes occurs between Architects and the Construction Manager when they are not under one roof.
